28th Annual Mistletoe Magic
November 23 to 30, 2017
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Silent Art Auction:
November 30, 6 to 9 p.m.
Please join us November 30th for the 28th Annual Mistletoe Magic Gala!
The John B. Aird Gallery (also known as the Aird Gallery) is having our annual holiday fundraiser. Each year the gallery raises money for its operation by holding a silent auction. All the art pieces are donated by Ontario artists, and the money raised goes to support the gallery’s exhibition and educational programming.
This year, over 150 pieces are available in a variety of mediums including paintings, photographs, collage and sculptures.
Preview and pre-bidding begins on Nov. 23 and runs through to the day of the auction and gala on Thursday, November 30, 6 to 9 p.m. when the winning bids will be announced. You can bid in advance by visiting the gallery in person. During the preview period art works can also be purchased if you pay the full retail price.
The silent auction takes place on the night of the gala.
We are located inside the Macdonald Block building at 900 Bay Street, Toronto – in the heart of Queen’s Park, the seat of the Government of Ontario. Opened in 1985, the gallery was named in honour of the twenty-third Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario to recognize his exceptional support of the visual arts in the province and in Canada.
As part of Mistletoe Magic the Aird also presents works by featured artists Patrick DeCoste, Pat Fairhead and Clint Griffin
This is a free event. All are welcome!
