Masks have long served as a powerful medium for artistic expression. This show explores this form of art via the works of Sarah Hunter, Lubo Brezina, Mykola Zhuravel, Philemon Campbell, Daria Tishchenko, and Halina Stopyra

Beyond their functionality for storytelling MASKS evolved to become intricate works of art. Artists channel symbolism and heritage, creating masks that act as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual, the human and the divine. Across diverse cultures these artifacts embody the creative spirit and unique views of their makers.

In modern days, masks offer a medium for personal and communal expression. Performers in masks often find themselves transformed, embodying new identities and personas that facilitate storytelling, ritual, or performance art and beyond. This transformation allows both the wearer and the audience to experience a shift in perspective, exploring themes of identity, anonymity, and transformation.
